I would say buy an aftermarket pipe that brigs out the bottom end a little more, maybe some reeds, see if you can get a slightly heavier flywheel for it, that'll help keep it going at low RPM's, but it'll rev a little slower, which would be OK for trails. Possibly play with the sprocket sizes a little. a couple teeth smaller on the rear should give it a little more off the line I think, i may get corrected on that

Maybe play with the sprockets a little bit, get a pipe/silencer.. Id say a FMF gnarly pipe/FMF shorty silencer if your riding tight rocky muddy trails whatever or maybe a FMF fatty or sst pipe with a powercore 2 silencer for more open trails (If you need a spark arrestor pipe get the FMF turbinecore2) I wouldnt go with pro circut pipes for trails but thats up to you. You should also get aftermarket reeds if you dont already have them. Id say veforce3s or Boyesen RADs. Maybe do a little bit of trail porting but cr250s are usually pretty nice trail bikes. Id say reeds and a pipe/silencer and you would probably be pretty satisfied (do the sprockets too depending on how you like it)

Smaller sprockets on the back will make the bike will make the bike alot faster and give it more off the line but it wont be very good in the trails unless theyre big trails (my definition of trails is anything from rocky, muddy, 3 or 4 foot wide trails to 20 foot wide packed smooth dirt roads almost so you would have to be specific on your definition of trails) but if you have big open fast trails drop the rear sprocket a few teeth and you could add a couple on the front if your looking for more than a minor difference. I like to go with titanium or chromoly sprockets so they never wear out but theyre expensive and heavy.

Alright, i was already thinking of the pipe but i have only rode the bike once ladt sept. got about 50 miles on her she rode great. but yeh the pipe is a must. the bike already has an fmf silencer not sure what kind though. i also discovered a leak around my clutch seal. i geuss its called the clutch lever seal inside the cover where the stator is. does anyone know if this is major or if the seals are hard to replace? thanks for the feedback.
