CR 250 Frame question

Hello...does anyone know for certain whether or not the older (mid-90's) Honda CR250's and CR500's share a common frame? And if so, is it realistic to think I could simply bolt in a CR500 engine to an existing CR250 frame? Has anyone here tried this, and possibly found out what all would be involved in the conversion? Thanks for any insights...
