Default big bore

hey guys im getting my cylinder bored out by eric gorr.

My connecting rod wiggles back and forth and theres a metal shred of some sort welded right to the top of my piston, so I'm going ahead and replacing the crank.

Do I need a different size crank for the big bore than what is in there now? If so, where could I get it, thanks.

1998 cr125

haha, yeah, 144, fmf sst, new crank...if i can get it jetted properly there is a good chance i will $hit myself.

So, lets put this in scenario. I go to motosport and go under complete bottom end kit and select 1998 cr 125, order it and it will drop right in there and put out some rpms?

By the way, i dont want to put a lot of money into buying a bunch of jets and pulling the carb 9 times, so if I brought it to the local dealership where the bike was bought, do you think they would jet it for a better price? Where do I even start with an fmf and a big bore for jetting? right now its at stock.

my cylinder is off right now and soon its going to eric gorr for a big bore and cylinder work, you wont need a new crank and go to fmf.com and they have a jetting specification page, start with their jets amd work your way until its perfect

thanks bud, jetting just seems like quite a lot of slow work.

I found some web pages that said gorr was relocating to europe or soemthign? if that's true im screwed, my cylinder would be sitting in front of his warehouse for the taking.

When it comes to engine performance, instant gratification isn't what happens.
