| The a arms will work and your right if the a arms work the rest in the front end will too. If anything, where the shocks mount in the frame you might need to open them up a little if they dont want to go in. And if it has a gap when you put them to the frame just throw a couple of washers in and you'll be all good.

| By now you know that the 450r swing arm does not quite fit the 250R frame, however some slight mods will take care of that. Break out a dremel grinder and shave about an 1/8" from the base of the swing arm where it hits the linkage mount. You can mark this area by releasing the shock and letting the the swing arm rest on this point. Next you'll have to shave off a little on each side (inside)of the shock mount for the stock 250R shock to fit. The Rear motor mount does not fit. So I built my own. Lastly you'll need the 450R bearing kit for the outer pivot points. If done right this setup is awesome. fourtrxrdr 87 Fullbore 250R 450R suspension Hinson Coolhead Boyenson Wisco ITP holeshot Last edited by fourtrxrdr; 05-13-2006 at 11:54 AM. |

| The A arms won't fit. The bottom rear mounting point is about an inch further back than the 250r , so either the 250r frame or the 450r a arm would need mods. The 450r spindles, hubs and calipers bolted right up to my 250r Lonestar A arms though. Last edited by jon370r; 05-15-2006 at 11:39 AM. |
