Default Changing a tire

i was wondering if it was possible to take a tire off the rim and put a new one on without using a tire machine, or if any special tools were needed?

Bike tires aren't too bad to change. Quad tires are another story, they are about impossible to break the bead unless you have a tire machine.

Ya, quads are a pain to change. I just did mine on the blaster, and I will never do it again. I ended wasting money instead of saving money because of the time it took me, and the rim I bent.

if the tire is shit, and not going to be used, cut it off. thats the easiest way your going to break the bead with out a tire machine. blead the air, start slicing the tire off. then start cutting the bead, but watch the rim. a pair of cutting pliers should cut the bead but i like to use a dremel with a cut off wheel, but watch the rim as to not cut into it, or the next tire will not seal! i have a tire machine so i don't do this all the time, but i had to do this on 2 of my buddies blaster rims which he already started cutting it off.

If you use a torch, you better figure on a new paint job on your rims.
