Default carb help

I am new to 2 strokes and my daughters '02 cr80 seems to be running rich. It has an FMF SST pipe and Q silencer. The jetting is pilot #50, main #122 and the needle is in the 3rd clip. I believe the air screw is about 2.5 turns out. My bike smokes more than I think it should and the plug (brand new) looks wet when I let it idle for a few minutes. I am running 91 octane pump gas with a 32:1 ratio and YES the choke is off. Thanks.

the pilot seems large for having only a 122 main ,id think id start by getting a 42# pilot ,does it bog in low or topend rpms?

I believe that those sizes are stock, which is what confuses me. With the aftermarket pipe and silencer I would've assumed the bike would run lean.

The carb is a Keihin 28mm, but i'm not sure about the rest. I did run and get a #48 and a #45 pilot and they too leave the plug wet. Being new to the 2-stroke family I have to ask a possibly stupid question - could the reed valve have anything to do with it and if so what should I check for? I also did check my float level and it seems fine, I also replaced the float valve for 27 freakin dollars.

I just checked the reeds and they look good, they make a good seal around the frame and the stoppers measure up to spec.. I pulled the pipe and silencer off and out poured the spooge. I am MISSING something!

theres a goos chance your cran kseal is leaking causing you to burn transmisison fluid . does the exhasut smoke smele like a sewer and leave a bad pungent odor in the silencer? head gasket leaks that burn antifreeze smell sweet and tranny fluid burning smells kinda like shit

Default my advise

to get a accurate plug reading you should go all out for a couple of minutes.if it still looks wet you may have to down jet not a lot of people do this but sometimes it is needed but only on the main jet you should be fine with your pilot.
