Desert Rim&Tire

Sorry if this is beating a dead horse...

any recommendations for a hot rim/tire setup for desert riding on a stock TRX 250R. Any sizing advice would be great and whether you think that warrants a gearing change. Peace out.

maybe try those skat trak desert storms.. they look pretty damn cool... i tink they have a tire called sandstorm too.... it looks alot like the desert storm.. i thought about gettign a set for the dunes when it's wet out.....

if u do some hardcore desert riding try some itp beadlocks 8 or 9 inch with some itp holeshot HD's

holeshots are too damn expensive...... so are razrs.. i'm not buying either anymore......

the skats are about that...

but for a knobbie you can get a nice keand for about 1/2 the price fo a holeshot fo a razr.... i actually like the razrs more than a holeshot...... i have a et of razrs about wore out.... thinking about taking every other rox of X's out and see how those fuckers hook then.. haha i;ve got 2 sets of holeshots... they re too soft adn the sidewall is too tall IMO.... a keanda knarly or a kenda dominator woudl be a good tire also

Sounds like what I'm looking at, good. Knarlys, Razrs, Dominators, and Holeshot HDs. Are there any in that batch that are too soft CA/AZ/NV deserts? When I win the lottery I'll swoop on the beadlocks...
How do you feel about tire height for clearance? I'm coming off of a big-ish dirt bike that was great for sloppy lines.

hell yeah the beadlocks are rediculous..700 bucks for a set w/o tires about a grand for tires and beadlocks..i paid like 900 for mine on sale..they come with a warrenty in some places
