trx 250r gearing

i have an 86 250r set up for mx what would be the best gearing for me stock is 13 39 i have 14-38 any suggestions.

I would stick with the 13 39 thats what I run. Also get 18inch tires in the back that will help you out with low end power

Stock on 88-89 is 13 38 not 13 39. I prefer that unless you have a stroker or big bore or something to make up the torque to pull a 14. Of course those tiny 18in tires do make quite a difference.
