| I bought an 88 250R back in Feburary. It has been modded quite a bit. Bored out once and full FMF exhaust, jets, K&N, Boyseen Reeds - basic stuff. I'm looking to squeeze a little more power out of it. Im considering a Cool Head, but dont know which CC to get. I want to be able to run pump gas if I cant have access to 103 octane gas. I am on a 13/38 gear set up and its too short for me. Im gonna consider the 14/39 sprocket set up and widen out the gears a little. I live about 550-600 ft above sea level and I was wondering what kind of jets should I be using? Its got a 160 in right now, but the slow jet I dont know what it is. Sometimes I have to punch the gas when kicking to start up the motor. Should I bump up my slow jet? My plug seems fine after long rides at WOT, nice brown color - no white spots. I run 50:1 premix ratio with AMS Oil. Any suggestions as for what I can do to improve my performance?
