Namura Pistons?

I'm going to be rebuilding my top end and want to know if Namura pistons are any
good? Has anyone heard anything about them? And what are the pro's and cons to a teflon coated piston if any. And please post which pistons you think are the best.

Get Wiseco. Stay far away from Namura as possible.

They are known to drop the skirts and create one hell of a mess.

ok, I think I'm going to stick with a wiseco piston. It might be a little more, but it's probably going to be worth it in the long run. I think the namura was cast, not forged like wiseco. I heard that cast pistons have a tendency to expand when hot, as where forged pistons do not. I think it's fair to say "You get what you pay for".

here's my .02....cast pistons suck...run a wiseco or athena...my buddy just tried the athena in his rm250 and it runs great..

but you can run cast pistons alot harder than a forged .... but still the wiseco's, athena, etc. are MUCH better pistons .....

Ya, def get the wiseco. I just ran a namura through the blaster and was not impressed at all. It didn't last too long and i've heard horror stories about them shattering.
