Default Cleaning Stator???

My LT just blew a head gasket(RM topend is going on sooner than planned) and filled my crankcase with coolant. I rode it about 1/4 mile back to the truck. Well tonight I removed the ignition cover to check the flywheel nut, and coolant drained out(blown crank seal). My stator has a nice film of nasty oil/coolant mixture on it... So my question is: What do I use to clean this stuff off with? I left it alone for now as I would hate to damage it with the wrong chemicals...

Default

A mild electrical contact cleaner should work........some of the heavy duty stuff will eat paint off, or damage plastic......
