so i have a HUGE problem

so i just built my engine after waiting a month after i paid for it tonight it has good compression, sparks, gas but wont run, is my timing off i mean i have the stock timing plate and my engine is .40 over, pipes and intake, tors eliminator kit. what could be wrong and if i have to ajust the timing around what degree should i set it i really want to ride tomorrow. any advice will be appreciated!

it was a timing issue i got a timing plate off my friends banshee +4 and it ran like a champ!

could be the pick up! did you use your pick up with the adjustable timing plate?

did you swap stators? if you didn't i'd put money on that being the problem...

so i was riding it today all day and the right side was smoking just a little idk what it is and some times its not hiting on both cylinders,.... idk whats wrong it ran good but i didnt get on it bcuz of the new top end, how long till its good to go fast? and idk if i crossed the spark plug caps someone tell me what goes on witch one?

either plug wire can go to either plug... that coil fires every 189deg.. so it fires at tdc and bdc for both cylinders..

try triming the plug wires... sounds to me like an ignition system problem... not a timing issue.....

what is regular compression for a shee? mines at 120psi should i retard the timing instead of advancing it?
