Timing on drag banshee quest.

can anyone give me suggestions on were my timiming should be set at?
Yamaha Banshee:4mm wiesco crank,V force delta 3,full drag port,cool head,not sure on dome size,35mm keihn carbs,+8 swing arm.Thanks guys...

+7 should do nicely for you{ IF} you run race fuel on your drag port, ive heard at around +10 and your bike will start burning holes in the pistons and stop idling and making bototm end torque too even on high octane race fuel . if I was you id look into getting a Nology race ignition coil(300 times better/faster spark) and Nology hotwires($140ish for everything) this will offer you more benefit and power over greatly advancing the ignition timing past+5....i run+5 and nology and really like that combo for faster revs and a more defined topend punch.my.02 anyways

Thanks for the info guys,I set it to 5 and yes I do run race gas.Made a few test runs and she sounds and feels good,very aggressive.Ill leave it at 5 for now.About the Nology race ignition coil,You must have read my mind,because I have been comparing ignition coils and prices and will be buying one this week.
