Anyone ever tried this

Anybody out there every fgot the bright idea to try and build your own wiring harness?

I recently bought a banshee and unfortunately, the previous owner chopped up the harness pretty good.

I tried to install some headlights and cannot get them to work and im not sure whats next.

theres a site called ebay.com where yo u can get about any banshee product for pennys on the dollar , that shit would probably sell for 5$

wiring harnesses are going for about $60 right now on ebay.... well the last couple i saw..

now about amking your own..... not hard at all..... oh and what year banshee do you have??? i have an extra harness for 87-94 and 95-96 banshees

i can make my own.... i wish i could buy just the plugs.... i guess i could hard wire the CDI and stator or.... maybe get some GM weatherpack connectors and build wiring harnesses....

they really are not that hard to build at all...... i thought about tryign to wire up a banshee or two through the frame......

Mines a 95. I think you can remove and replace most of the wires in the factory connectors. the bullet connectors i would just replace. If you have a harness that will work and are interested in unloading it...let me know. Complete harnesses are actually tough to come by on ebay...there are only about 2 listed in there now

i have a good 95-96 harness.. with all the tors wiring removed... headlight stuff is still there... i'm not gonna use it... i'm trying to get all my banshee with the 97-up plugs... my 03 and 98 already have those plugs so...... i'm gonna get a few more 97-up harnesses for my 87, 97 , and my mystery banshee....

oh speaking of which i gotta grab a dfew pics fo the 97.... it's comming along nicely...

oh yeah i'm nto sure you can PM if you dont; haev a certain amount of posts... you give me $30 it's yours... if i rememebr correctly i had a burn spot in one wire and i cut the bad piece out and soldered the connection... then heat shrunk the joint.... anyway it's in good shape...
