Exclamation no spark

, i crashed my cr125, and nothing visable was broken but after when i tryed to start it the next day it wouldnt(usually first kick) so i checked the spark plug aginst the cylinder head and no spark, but i screwed around with it for a while and just tightend conections with my fingers and got the spark back a few times and it would start first kick but then i'd shut it off and then there was no spark again, i don't know what it is and was just wondering if how i can test the connections and condition of wires and whatnot before i go taken parts out and testing with ohm meter. any help will be greatly appriciated, I WANT TO RIDE AGAIN!

Are you absolutely sure it's a spark problem? I'm not second guessing your diagnosis but maybe the plug wasn't grounded good enough during the test. A lot of times after a spill the float will stick in the carb not allowing fuel to get to the cylinder. If it is a spark problem then try another plug and check the connection at the boot real good. Did you wipe out near water? Maybe there is moisture somewhere in the ignition system. Maybe the coil or CDI cracked. The possibilities are numerous it will just take some time to figure it out.

yea theres no spark, but the only thing that confuses me is why would it work once in a while but then not again, its defitnately a electrial problem cause theres no spark and then i let it just sit there for a while and when i came back there was a spark so i screw plug in and works perfect, i was wondering if anybody knew of any problems that have that syptom, i thought maybe a loose wire would make sense, but i dunno, i thought maybe somthing to do with the fly wheel timing but yeah i dunno, i guess ill just have to bust out the clymer book and do what it says and hopefully ill be able to narrow it down to the part thats causing it to do that, i just hope i dont have to take it into the shop, because of a loose wire that i cant find or somthing stupid like that

yea i kinda landed on front tire, like bike was pointed strait at the ground, from about 10 feet in the air onto flat ground and bike did a couple flips

dunno how nothing visable got busted though

im gonna check cdi with ohm meter, that would be dope if that was the problem, easy fix, but not dope , cause expensive
