i have read about this before.i think in graham bells book.not sure but i think you need atleast 1 or 2 mm for the petals to seal properly.other than that the bridges are knifed.make it flow.

does any one have and pictures... when doing this what do you take off... do u just make it aerodynamic or what... make a better sealing surface for the reeds???
