Default nitrous fogger system on blaster?

hopefully everyone knows wut a NO2 fogger system does on a car. Wut if i build a custom fogger plate out of a reed spacer plate for my blaster? or used a 1" to 2" aluminum pipe to introduce a fogger setup to my blaster? would it just explode the engine or could it be done safely?

Nitrous will not make an engine "explode". its not even flamable. It just colds the air going into the engine. I know NOS500 or something that like knows how to do the setup. Try PMing him about it

Actually a nitrous system adds more oxygen to the combustion in the engine which in turn makes more power. It can also cause bad things to happen to motor if the system you use isn't set up right. It does help to cool the charge of air in the intake also since the air coming out of the bottle is really cold but the main increase comes from the extra air provided from the nitrous oxide going in to the motor and adding more air for the combustion.

I have seen kits for quads but I would imagine it would only be practical if you drag race. I can't imagine needing it on a trail.

Nitrous only detonates engines because of 2 reasons.

1) the proper ammount of gas is not added along with the nitrous making the engine run lean and blowing up

2) IF you add a 100 hp shot of nitrous on a car and the engine is already stressed with the current load, or internal parts cannot handle that much horse. it will cause the engine to come undone/break internally and you have a broken engine. but that same engine would still blow if you had a 100 hp worth of boost from a turbo/supercharger added.

the key is air is 78% nitrogen & 21% oxygen & NOS has 36% oxygen the gain comes from the extra oxygen the nitrous bring in the cyl allowing more fuel to be burned
yes 5-10 hp shots are a good starting point start small & work up

I have Nitrous on all my 2 strokes and for all of them I have a stock rubber carb to cylinder boot that i have drilled and threaded a fogger into then sealed with silicone adhesive. the only way your engine will explode is if you push the nitrous button while the motor is off and then try to start it. Nitorus is great stuff if used properly.
