vforce 3 reed for my yz125?

I decided to start looking into getting some aftermarket reeds(not sure if stock bikes come with some) for my 2001 yz125. I'm looking at the V-FORCE 3 REED VALVE SYSTEM from motosport.com. I chose them because they have a lot of nice items for my bike. They say this in the description:

* Adjustable reed stops to fine-tune performance
* Improves performance across the entire power range
* Rubber over-molded reed cages promote long reed life.
* Drastically improves the entire powerband with a significant boost in the bottom & mid ranges.

The last thing about low end and mid range power is what i really like because i feel my bike is sometimes only powerful in the high rpms.

If anybody has used this on their quad or dirtbike, please chime in with your opinions on this. I dont want to do engine work or change my gearing so this seems logical if it works well. I would just like to hear from people who have this on their rides.

the only concern i have with em, is it seems ya have to replace the reeds every couple of years otherwise they flake off and crack..

I wouldnt mind replacing them even every year. But thanx for the heads up. How much is cost to replace them?

i think the replacement pedels are $56

that's a hill we like to climb. i have a few photo's of it in my album. i have never seen anything but a banshee, Craptor, and 250cc and above dirtbikes make it all the way up (ask Pro-tyrer he told me i was fuckin nuts to climb that).. i have yet to see a 125 make it all the way up haha.. next year we are holding a hill climb race.. first one to the top wins..

i got no problem with the 125's quick bikes, just not enough for me. no offence but they bore me with the lack of top-end and just unability to do anything but go around a track.. i grew up on a 94 yamaha yz125, i love riding it on a track, but i'm 6' and a 125 just isn't up to my riding ability's when it's stock.. i would have to put so much into it to make it run the way i like, and the 250 for me just comes the way i wanted it from the crate. i've had that bike for 7 years and i'm finally putting an exhaust syatem on it to squeeze some more ponnies out of it. That's saying something there. ya for you the 125 is perfect and i know your joking about the 250 thing, but hey a 250 fits right in with my riding style. when ya try one let me know what your first impression is

but those V3's should help the bottom end snap . too bad we live so far apart. like to go ridin with ya. sounds like you would enjoy some of the riding i do. and i really wanna see what the that 125's got. sounds like it's way more potent then my buddy's '02 125

you should hear how much i rag on my buddy matt. he spends 30 min just trying to make it up. and when he comes and parks it by me at the bottom. the first thing i say to him ya done yet? and he says he needs a new tire and all this shit that's why he can't make it, so i just tell em. go take my bike up so atleast ya can say ya made it. this was his second time riding it. and he comes down after climbing it 5 times and just shakes his head and tells me how unfair that is, that even doing everything he can't even come close. and i start 10' from the base in 3rd and still make it all the way up...

then i rub it in for $200 more he could have had a year newer 250 then mine, but he thought that was too much for a bike... now he regrets it.. your really wanna know the difference (i want ya too) go down to a dealer and ask if you can test ride one . there a hell of a lot of fun. being that 125 was probably a race bike at some point in time that baby's probably got a good set of kahuna's on it. and you like it, not going to tell ya what's better or not, that's your call. and i'm kinda rambling, but it's dark and i live in the middle of no where and i'm bored haha. you got msn messenger or Aol or some chat client? i saw ya added me on Xfire. try to find a time to chat
