Default lt500r hole in intake.

i was wondering if anyone knew why someone had drilled a hole in the side of a 87 zilla intake, the last owner welded the hole shut but im not sure why it was there in the first place. any insight would be nice.

I have seen holes on some of my tecate3 cylinders, some had them, some didnt. The ones I had were tapped for some sort of fitting. I always thought maybe they used it to prime the engine, or power a fuel pump?

The best resaons for a hole in the intake is for a nitrous fogger or a powerjet for alchol.
