| I've run Uni's on all my dirtbikes for as long as I can remember. When I had both my Blasters the one had a K&N and the other a Uni. When I sold the 02 I kept the Uni. My new shee has a K&N with an outerwear and as soon as I can afford it I'm going to get a Uni pod filter for it.

| K&N is a high flow filter...better performance = increased airflow, and along with this increased airflow you might get some dust particles...and like you guys have said the chances are its not going to be a noticable difference, but running with out and airbox as apposed to running wiht your lid off isnt going to make a feel it in your pants difference either, but theres still a shit ton of people that do it to get just that little bit... cuase a bunch of thos little bits of horse power do add up.... |

| If I get a UNI what should I start with jetting at? P.S Does this UNI filter fit inside my stock air box with all the stock plastics and holder or will I have to eliminate the box and get pods?

| K&N BLOWS & SUCKS! NOT a dirt filter at all, and infact, I don't know why anyone even endorses them, or sells them in thier shop. Thier oil filters suck too......some are equivilant to OEM, most are not, but none are better! Get that? I've gone to rebuild carbs at the shop, and found BOULDERS that those junk filters let come flowin' on by laying inside the carb. Ridiculous!

| Stick with a dual stage foam filter like uni. All the factory race teams run foam because it gives the best balance of trapping dirt and providing enough airflow. |
