Default small gap in vf3 reeds

so i have just 2 day on my new motor and vf3 reeds and on the inside reeds have a small gap about the size of a reed is this a big deal or is it normal?

a small gap is normal. think of it this way banshee revs out to what 9500-10k? that's 10,000 times every min that those reeds are opening and closing. comes down to around 167 times a second. think the gap will matter?

i would like to refer u to tha redneck reed repair where they fix one with a credit card if u dont like lowtec then i would say busy sum new ones
