i have a buddy who recently perched an item simular to one of these Turbo or Super charger .... he hasn't receved it yet but i was thinking if that would be a semi effective mod for a 2-stroke, because it would aid in more thugh mixing of air and fule... im not terrably interested in buying one just wondering if it would really work... what do you say???

Complete Bullchit! Your not gonna gain anything by decreasing the volume of air by sticking a cut up piece of a coke can that "supposedly" twirls the air to increase flow. What that contraption actually does is decreases the amount of area to which the air flows through. There's also a similiar product called "The Tornado". There's a reason why they play those info-mercials at 3am on a weeknight.....cause those things don't work. Tell your friend to get his money back. -Mark

I'd have to agree with Reeperlt500. THat turbo is only going to spin because of the force of the aire going to the motor. SO basically your motor is making the turbo run not the other way around. A true super charge works buy using the motor to force air into the intake.

The Turbo thing is only going to act as an air damn.

super chargers and turbo work because they compress air...... not because they spin air... it;s called forced induction for a reason.... engiens are in all reality an air pump.....

see people will buy anything.... if they get a good enough story bout it.... you gotta understnd how the engien worksand how exactly the modifications your doign work.. everything must work together to make a fast engien combination.... what i'm saying is youi gotta understand what a forced induction system does before you can say soemthing is comparable.... no bodys rippign on ya we are just giving you some advice and honest opinions.......

I got the tornado air, it seems to help increase my gas mileage maybe 1-2 mpg. On something like a banshee though it would do jack because it works by creating more complete combustion. With a carb instead of fuel injection you are not going to be able to get close enough to the correct air/fuel ratio to do anything. thats just my thoughts on the matter. I guarantee you won't feel a difference in power, thats just them wanting you to buy it, but it did help my gas mileage a little bit. I know what a turbo and a supercharger is, and this is not one of those

fist thing first, im not getting one... my buddy got one for his 4 stroke, as far as a two stroke your air fule as added time to mix in the case.... i understand.... and i know how turbo and super chargers work, i had a turbo car.... the reason i used those words is because of what the name of the website is... just wondering in anybody had used one on a 4 stroke or 2 stroke before...
