Default Reed spacers

hey, what kind of performance diff do these make? Is it worth spending the $30? I already have a stage IV trinity head 20cc domes, 35mm carbs, Toomy T-5's and V-Force reeds. Low end still a little sluggish.
Also what would you guys recomend I mix for octane?
How bout plug gap? Thanx alot for the info, this is a cool site!

your lowend is sluggish because your carbs are huge for a nonported banshee and at 20cc your compression is nt very high either . if you want to keep the carbs ,id look at porting the cylinders and advancing your timing instead of buying reed spacers

Default porting reliability

thanx for getting back to me, I heard porting if done correctly gives a pretty good power increase but i sacrifice alot of engine reliability is this true?, how about just a very mild port and polish. Also what kind of compression can I safely run?

it is beyond "pretty good"if done correctly and yo u have the mods to support it , it has the ablility to double stock power output . as far as it being unreliable , that is a myth handed down usually from people who cant maintain their machines and prefer to blame the engine over their own neglect.,as long as regualr maintenance is performed and correct fue land jetting it is plenty relaible. 20cc isnt bad.. but 18cc o na 350cc engine should get yo u i n a suitable range that sustains lowen on those big carb s and a good port job .

I think eviltwin was figuratively speaking when he said doubling of your HP. Stock is 37HP and 65 to 70HP is very doable on gas while still having a nice torque curve. Hell, my stock stroke trinity motor put out 63HP on pump gas with T5's.

So he has a bench flow tester that he reffered to using on a two stroke, and he needs the proper specs given to him before cutting? You better go somewhere else.
