i use the pro design intake on my 05, works fine but the boost bottle is kinda big and gets in the way of the fuel line were in comes off the tank.

Here is what Passion Racing Engines said: "Currently those manifolds are offered for 26 - 36mm carbs. In about a month they will be available for 39mm carbs as well. They all work with VF2's" Looks like this is the way to go.

Talked with the people at Passion Racing today. They are super nice. My shiny new intake should be in just in time to finish up the Shee.

What are the advantages of running an intake with a crossover vs without ?

I believe you need a crossover to stabilize the pressure inside the intake. Now I could be completely wrong so sending a PM to someone like eviltwin may be your best bet for the right answer. I have come to find out that the boost bottle set up is mainly for show and doesn't help performance much. There are some forums here about that.

ok the boost bottle improves throttle respons on low end..it does..i tried it with and without and it works for tight turns
