Hi, I wanted to see if you guys could help me out. I wanted to know if it was alright to eliminate the boost bottle on the Tri-z. Also what boot would I use to replace the tri-z one with the fitting. Thanks for you help guys.

if I'm not mistaken, I think YZ250 intake parts should work, from the 87-89 era

Why do you want to rid the bottle? Just currious, never heard of anyone wanting too. It is ugly as hell though...

Well I figure it look a little better without it, I was also reading a thread here on boost bottles and they seem kinda useless. I also wanted to see if I can put a better reed cage like a v force.
Eviltwin says I can put one which I also here helps out a lot.

Eviltwin what will I gain with a yz 250 flywheel. If I put a thinner head gasket will I have to run it on race gas. What compression is it stock, and if I put a thinner head gasket? I know I was talking to about porting my head also.

Has anyone tried the yamaha wrench report?

thanks for the responses guys!

ok heres the deal on the WR parts....
you want a reed cage for a 92-97 wr250Z... it;s a direct swap.. but you may only be able to get a vf2 cage... i'm not 100% sure on that.... the yz flywheel work it;s lighter and will help the trike the rev faster.. but..... you need the YZ stator i bleieve.... and your lights won't work..... and the YZ head gasket will nto require you to run race gas.. just use premium pump gas....
