Whats up all! I just picked up my first banshee. 1996 pretty much stock. Im coming off a (laugh if you want) 87 warrior and a 90 trx 300 4x4 before that.

I havent had a chance to ride the shee yet but from what Im told I wont be dissapointed. Ill most likely be around quite a bit because Im addicted to this sport among other things like a crack habit.

My plans are to pick up some new a-arms and shocks all around, and a steering stabilizer ,most likely denton or scott. Im not much of a track rider but mostly trails with the occasional dune trip. Coming from a warrior Im sure the banshees stock power will make me smile but if not pipes, jets, and a filter will be put into order. I had a sled that weighed 450lbs and had 169 horse so the faster the better but for now stocker should be fun.

I look forward to hearing from all of ya and any suggestions would be great.

when you really want psycho power...get it ported, head shaved and the fly wheel lightened. For pipes i would reccomend fatties or t5's, and v force reeds, also some 34 mill carbs.

When you get the bike ported...pm eviltwin.

Nah no porting for me. Not in the next year or two but im sure if I get pissed on once ill change my mind. I was thinking pt mid pipes for the trails. already has v force 2s on it.

Welcome to the new habit. Oh, the site too. I just got mine and have dumped the mortgage into it without even riding it yet. But then, I've ridden a stock shee (long-assed time ago) and remember them being pretty doggish in stock form.

Thanks for the welcome and what do you all suggest for a low to mid range pipe that doesnt lose too much up top. Thats probly like having your cake and smashing it into your face too huh? I guess Ill either have to live with the loss up top or just ride it faster so I wont have too. I am not looking to be the fastest up the hill but I dont want nobody waiting for me at the top if ya know what I mean.
