| DragLT - I looked around online for the other 2 pipes (I WANT a DrQ, but he gets top dollar). I can't find any for sale. I'll call FTZ tomorrow. But, I read some mixed reviews on the FTZ. The Shearers get good reviews . . . but I can't find any for sale. Does Shearer himself have a website? I might just have to try to talk the wife into the DrQ. Yes, the Z400 hubs slide right on like they were made for the LT500. GREAT mod. I bought 2 on eBay for a total of $55 plus S/H . . . Z400 wheels are EASY to find! That mod was recommended by the guys at www.fullertonsandsports.com - really good resource for sand tire recommendations. They sold me on the PadlaBrats . . . and those RIP! I liked the look of the drag pipe at first . . . now, not so much. Plus, in the one day of racing I got done (before frying the Zilla), people were sheepish about racing me, just because it looks so agressive.

| yes shearer has a web page its shearerpipes.com they will build you an inframe or the drag pipe if you want to keep that aggressive drag race look. they charge around $380 if I remember right. FTZ charges $300 i think and Dr.Q charges $500 and im not sure if he makes drag pipes, ive only ever seen his inframe pipe.

| Shearer builds the Q pipe? well thats weird because DR.Q says that he has like 20 years of research into his pipe that he built. claims to be the LT expert. I cant say yes or no on that becasue i dont know the quality of his work and he over charges for my wallet but he still has been a huge help on some of my ?'s over at quadracerhq.com and also he knows his stuff so idk maybe he is maybe he isnt.

| huh. well either way all his customers seem to be happy with the pipe. ive seen other inframe pipes that shearer has made for the LT other than the Q pipe. but they mostly do drag pipes.
