New here.. Thought i'd say hello!

I finished it last friday at 6:30 and started it for the first time at the local 1/8th track at 7:00..Without any tuning it's first pass was a 7.2X at 95mph.. We are hoping to break a mid 6 at 100+ tonight with a gearing change and the carbs worked out.. Ran the 95mph run spitting methanol all over the tires lol.. Anyways i will be home at about 11 and should have some good or bad news

Yeah that flywheel has taken some abuse from the asphault and is still tickin!.. Think porting that cylinder over the winter from the clean up it has now could get me .11 of a second in the 1/8th??


We Managed to shave the 7.3X at 95 to 7.10 at 92.. The tire spin was the reason the mph is higher on the firsts weeks run.. Really want that .11 of a second to shave to get it to a 6.99.. Only 3 more weeks and the track closes for the winter.. Right now myself any my mechanic/friend have been talking about making a rigid out of chromoly over the winter.. It will be his first chassis but he is a very good welder so we will do what we can, and maybe find somebody who has one who could send me some deminsions.. Anyways thanks for the welcome guys.. Looks like a real cool site!
