New guy from Michigan

Whats up all, this isn't my first post but i figured, what the hell, im new here. Any other Michigan boys out there know any good riding spots in southeastern michigan. I know a few spots but always looking for a new one.

There is the Mounds by Flint.
Going further north, there is soem good trails in Gladwin.
Further north, Bullgap (Personal Favoite) located in Mio, MI
However, Best place within a few states around here is Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

My friend has a cabin in fairview and we ride to bullgap from there. I have been to silver lake once it was sweet as hell, I plan on going back a few times this summer. were in galdwin can I find some good ridin?

No place legal to ride south of Mt. Morris, unless you know someone with Land and have their explicit permission.

For us guys...you gotta drive to ride. There are two sand drag strips within 2 hours of us...give or take. I'm a SE MI guy myself. Welcome!!!

welcome to e2s man, you will find endless help...good group of guys here!

me and some buddys ride at a gravel pits in shelby twp. its not legal but if you dont get caught who cares my car got a ticket once for parking on the side of the road but if you got 4 wheel drive you can ride up in there and hide it...its nothin great but for some quick simple pleasure its ok. its at dequinder rd and hamlin rd right on hamlin rd to the right! and you always got state land in lake orion and lapeer area!

Thats really close to me. I live in Sterling Heights. ill have to check that out. The best place that i found so far is at 29 mile & Mound Rd. in Washington Township. it is some guys private land but i have been back there riding with a bunch of people while he was back there and he just waved at us. plus if you go across the street u can ride the Stoney Creek walking paths. dont get caught doing that though. im sure they dont like us ripping up there trails. (but it is fun) Were is there state land in lake orion and lapeer area?
