| well I think that when i bought it they told me that it was just rebuilt( yea right) it looks like to me that it has had 2 sleeves put in it and the lst time i think that my fuel mixture was off. the shop here told me to mix it 50 to one and i did and it burned up. then then next time i mixed it 30 to 1 but i leaned the jetting out like 4 steps. then burned it down again at little sahara. Then in the parking lot at sand mountain i rebuilt it again made a run to rockymountain atv then i rode it for about 2 hrs then the cyl wall came apart. now im trying to find a stock cyl or i might send it to la sleeve to be resleeved unless anyone has a better idea? ![]() |

| Your best bet would NOT to buy another engine. You already have one that is giving your issues. Have your cylinder resleeved, Then jet it correctly. L.A. Sleeve would be your best bet. 50:1 is alright, but you have to use a high quality oil such as Spectro or AMSoil. My personal preference is AMSoil @ 40:1 or 32:1 Depending on the weather......I have never had a problem relating to the oil. I also have ridden 50:1 on many occasions with no problems. Welcome again, There are ma bunch of very 2-stroke smart people here, Im sure we will have no problem solving your problem of meltdowns. Why dont you give us a list of mods on the engine, then we can give you a good ballpark figure on where to start with the jetting... Travis
