 new guy oklahoma Im new here. Stumbled upon her via google. Looking for suzukilt250r posts. I own 2 of them 85 lt250r bought off wifes uncle 4 years ago, and 86 lt250r bought few weeks ago. The 85 I tore apart 4 years ago after crank went out. I finally got new crank and got it back togeher with all gears (neutral seems to be out) buts its running sweet for stock motor. The 86 I bought looks raced and the suspension is wore bad. When it does run it seems to have more power than my 85. I suspect some port work has been done to it and it has a Keihn carb on it. I think crank seals are bad on it as it smokes fierce and fouls plugs bad, gone tear it apart and have a look sometime. Not sure if I will fix it up or part it out. But I am 35yr old dad of 3 kids, and my job is automotive mechanic, fix everything.      |
