Hello all. Just got back into mx riding after 10 years absent. My latest ride is a 88 KX250 bought for $700.00 from the 55 year old original owner. He'd just had the cases split for the whole eng./ tranny rebuild. Then it bit him hard afterward. He wanted no part of it any longer, so I got there first with the cash. I got my first ride @ age 6, the good ole' Honda 50 mini trail. Owned several more dirt bikes growing up, then got turned onto Gixxers and stayed on pavement eventually getting my dream bike as in a Harley Davidson completely bored n stroked. I really enjoy thrashin on the KX though. One hell of a stress reliever!! My dream ride would be a Banshee that wasnt beat all to hell, as they are quite hard to find round these parts that arent trashed.

Thanks man. She's down right now(no spark) but I'm gettin a new ignition system this week & hopefully it'll go together without any problems for me. Hoping to be @ the track in a weekend or two roostin' the lame ass 4 strokers!

I had extra headder wrap left over from doing my harley pipe & figured it would be alot easier using that than sanding and repainting the old KX pipe as I plan on getting an FMF pipe to replace it. I've already got a real sweet polished oval answer tip i scored for $10.00. I dont know if the wrap helps other than heat build up on my KX, but I can tell a little difference on my Harley with it on there.
