 Another western PA'er Hey everybody, looks like a pretty cool forum here. I live near Butler PA, been wrenching on 2 strokes for a while and like learning about them. Got a 1984 ATC 250R, about 10 snowmobiles, and a few chainsaws.          |

| Thanks for the welcome guys. I have sleds ranging from 340 to 500 cc's, mostly 440's though. I mainly like the vintage muscle sleds from the 70's and early 80's, got a trail mod and a grass drag sled in the works. The trail mod is based on a skidoo RV chassis and a 440 Rotax rotary valve engine, hope to get at least 100 horses from it. Sled in the picture is a Polaris indy 400 I built from scratch, worked the engine over a little, dual 38mm carbs, and custom suspension. Just picked up a 1980 Centurion a few months ago, has a l/c 3 cylinder 500cc engine, should be a fun little sled. YouTube - Powerline Hill Climb, on snowmobile YouTube - Beating on the Panther |
