the tors dont NEED to be removed, but its in your best intrest to remove them, before one of the many throttle cables inside gets gummed up and snaps and leaves you stranded, its also alot easier to work your jetting out without them there, not to mention not much easier it is to work on your bike with that extra crap out of the way, u should order up a tors removal kit and idle screw kit, $60 total for both. as far as jettin for the pipes, u could start out with 300 mains and work down from there, it might be a bit rich, you can check your plugs after , should be light tan brown color, on the porceline part
