I just put the carb on and im running a 215 main with the mods in my sig and the needle in the center. It runs great and burns light brown on top end. But when im running a little slower and nail it...i get a slight hesitation/bog then it takes off. Any suggestions? I havent messed with it alot as it got dark... Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

yeah that does seem too big a main.did you plug chop it?i would drop to like a 205-210 and chop it.what pilot and airscrew set at?

That is a huge main, it sounds like you are a bit rich. Try dropping the needle a notch or a smaller main jet. I run a 175-182 on my 500R with the same carb.

215 is huge, what needle are you running. Normally with a ddj I run 155-165 and deh 180-190. You have got to be too rich.

Actually that would be more likely to mean the opposite with a carb.

Im not sure the pilot size... and i glanced at the needle and i think i seen r370? dont remember. My plug is never wet and it burns light brown.. to test it ran it up our country road wot in 6th and clutched and killed it to check the plug. I may try a smaller main, but i didnt think that would affect the slow to wot hesitation. but ill try anything to fix it. ill try and get the pilot and needle #s. and the needle clip is on the middle setting.
