Heres what I've got to say. I have a 99'....I just rebuilt the topend, and added a bunch of aftermarkets. After the bore, now 67mm Wiseco piston kit, FMF fatty gold series with powercore 2 silencer, Boysen reeds with 1/2" reed spacer, UNI filter, lid removed from filter box, running stock Mikuni carb, Oil injection blocked off using Klotz BeNoil 32:1 with Klotz octane boost to 98 octane, with 1 size larger Pilot jet to 35. I thought that I would start huge yesterday when I fired it up for the first time, and try a 310 main. I fired it up...and everything was great. Idled fine, sounded good. I took it for a spin did a plug chop, seemed to be a little to grey for my likeings. It was NOT choclate or wet as I thought it would be. This thing is BEGGING for more fuel, so I am bumping the main up to a 340 tonight, and will test it when this GD rain quits!
