| I just got my 01 yz250 back from the shop with a newly cromed cylinder and a new piston. Before i got it rebuilt it always ran rich and had lots of buildup on the top of the piston and always a wet plug. But now it smokes alot more(blue smoke). It wont smoke too bad if i put around the track but if i get to a strait away and pin it it seems to have good bottom end but is flat on top, and will leave behind a very embarasing blue cloud. If I run it hard for a while it will clean up but if i sit for a second then it will smoke when i accelerate. I didnt do a plug chop but I checked the plug and it has carbon build up that has turned white all the way to the bottom. If it is smoking this much shouldnt it be black and wet? Should I jett it according to throttle response or smoke? What is a sure way of telling that it is lean? needle n3ej 2nd clip from top pilot 50 Main 178 elevation 2000 ft temp 60-90 degrees f humidity dry mods fmf sst pipe with fmf turbine core 2 |
