What jet to start with??

Alright, so I finally got all my jets ready to go. I have 260,270,280 mains. I have some stock and 27.5 pilots. My ? is, do I go ahead and put the pilots in to or just start with the mains and then go to the Needle and then to the pilots?

I am 220lbs, 50degrees in winter, 90degrees in summer, right now, 78degrees, 800ft above sea level, dmc 916's, proflow adapter with foam filter and foam wrap. airbox lid on with just the snorkel removed.

I'd say run 270 with 27.5 pilots. I have 30 pilots in now but I think there too rich for my dmc pipes. Clip should be good on the middle clip.

i would got 280's on the mains and 27.5 would work fine

id ditch the lid or cut a huge hole in the top through both layers

No need to. The snorkel removed should be good but I would try either 280 or 270 and work your way down. 30 pilots might be good but I'd start with the 27.5

If you remove the lid, 280 mains.

stock pilots flow more than enough fuel for any pipes when you're still using the factory airbox and lid, despite having a K&N Stuffed in there. Ride in the same elevation, same temps as you....
