| Hey I was wondering if I needed to change my jets for quadfest, I don't know what I am running now but I live in ny and ride usually at like 500 to 900 ft above sea level and I looked up quadfests elevation and it said like 2200ft for the town of central city. Is that just like somewhere different where quadfest will be or is where we are riding up high. If my jets are good at my home elevation what differencein elevation makes you have to change jets. |

| I would bring the next 3 sizes smaller than what you run now and maybe the next size smaller pilot. The nice thing is, is youll be rich. No worries of burning it up

| You really wouldn't need to re-jet cuse you'll only be a tad rich. I live very nearby you and that is the least of my worries.

| Well from 900ft to 2300ft+ there is definatly going to be a difference. Will it run ok, yes. Will it run as good as it does when (and if) you tweaked the tuning at home, no. There will be a difference with a 1400 ft increase in elevation

| What "tweaking" could I do either at home or when I get to Quadfest that would help. I always beat my friends 4 strokes on the trail and when we ride. I would hate to line up against him at the drags and get beat. He has a craptor 660 dual exhaust other minor mods and jetted to same elevation as me. I have 03 banshee T5s and the jets that came with them "not sure what size" cut airbox and aftermarket air filter, it has always rode very strong and starts on 2 or 3 kicks. Any help would be appreciated even if had to buy some new jets and put them in when and if I need them when I get there. Thanks |
