| It sounds like the mud in the bottom of the tank is filtering into the carb and causing the needle to stick open. Clean the tank out and then the carb and install a new filter and it should be okay. |

| dump out all the old gas, then use soap and water to get it clean then dump like a quart of clean gasoline in there and slosh it around and dump it out... you could also use some acetone....

| I wouldn't use acetone, that can be bad on the plastic tanks, My trike did the same thing, i just bought a carb rebuild kit off of ebay for like $15 and it never did it again also look the needle over good for un even wear.... it's most likely just the float springs...

| i would think it could also be that the floats might not be adjusted at the right level....so its letting the bowl fill up too much and flooding it. That would make sense as to why it woudln't start and would leak out the overflow.
