there isn't much you can do about height. Im not a suspension expert, but there must be a way to bring it lower to the ground by adjusting the suspension.

bring it to your local shop...if they cant fix it try and grow, lol

you can drop your preload on the rear shock a little, you can probably gain about an inch or so doing that, and you can trim your seat foam waaaay down to get you the rest.

Did you get a killer deal on it?

Sell it, turn a quick profit and buy your quad.

you can soften the rear. i believe the spring on the shock should have an adjuster on it. then just loosen the triple clamp and drop the fontend an inch or two. then you get into triming the seat foam. i'm guessing the biek was set up for a guy that's 6'6" haha my brothers 5'7" and he fits on my yz250 fine...

i used to have a kx80 and i was too little for it so my dad took the seat cover off and trimmed it with an electric knife, thats a couple inches. not real great but it worked and i didn't lose any suspenion.

You could drop the forks in the trees and lower the front about an inch, you can also make longer dogbones for the reasr suspension and drop it about 2 inches. that should make a pretty drastic change in how high the bike actually sits... from what I remember the engines made really good power that year. it seemed like kawasaki played catch up for years after that bike. I don't think they made as much power until several years later.
