thats nice but its definitally not an 87 cause i got an 87 and its not like that so maybe 97 but im actually thinking aftermarket

that is a 1990 or newer moter that has the silver parts pianted black for some reason but the jug has the front plate above exh port for accses to kips bolts

tecates are too rare too do a motor swap...i'd use a kfx 400 for the conversion

Its a novelty quad, it would be a blast to ride a couple short rides on but the kx500 vibrates so bad in the tecate chassis that it will actually crack the frame. Even so I bet it would be a hell of a thrill to grab a hand full of throttle and try to hold on. I wouldn't pay big money for it though.
