So do these bikes perform well? I always wanted to see or ride one of these. They sound so cool on the videos I have seen. Will they keep up with a 600cc four-stroke?

Hey,
Thanks for the replies and the kind words. Performance ??? It's pretty strong .
I am making about 90/95 RWHP . In the current state of tune with 3.14 gear ratio 14t front and 44t rear I can roll the throttle on in 1st and the front end starts walking up at 6000 when it comes on the pipe. Shift to 2nd at 8000 and get a nice 6 inch power wheelie which will settle down as the speed increases . I saw 130 indicated at 7800 in 5th last Sunday.
The new sportbikes are leaps and bounds ahead of this bike in every way except stoplight to stoplight acceleration(which is what they were built for ). I am preparing to install 1991 Kawasaki EX 500 brakes ,forks and mag wheels (16 inch on both ends) and master cylinder This mod will further reduce my unsprung weight and help immensely in the handling and braking departments.
More to Follow,
I LOVE THE SMELL OF BELLRAY S1-7 IN THE MORNING!!!
