1991 kx125

Hay guys im new to this forum so hi.

I just bought a 1991 kx125 just wondering if this is a good bike and if there are anythings i will have to watch out for?

if it was me the first thing i would be doing is:

Check the plug maje sure it's not lean
Take the rear swingarm off and repack the bearings
Get a fresh tank of gas in it
Clean the airfilter
do a compression test
inspect for any cracks or defects in the frame
check brake pads and rotar warpage
check radiator levels and put in new fliud
Change tranny oil.

ive fully rebuilt the engine and re powder coated frame and replaced the the swing arm bearings just waiting on a new stator

Deadly bike a buddy of mine has one. Check your pipe mounts and swinger bearings and that should do ya if you have been through the rest/

I own one same bike, same year. Can't tell you a damn thing about it haha. I rebuilt the engine, fired it up, it seems to run good. I never finished the break in and have never rode it. Its just sitting around collecting dust. Its a good lookin bike though.

well just do the basics of two strokes...check the jetting, give alot of attention to your bike, and if something little is wrong with it...fix it before it gets worse.

thanks guy just started it to day it started first kick and just sat there running nicely let it warm up then went for a ride the power band is crazy
