Talking New project!!!!

I just picked up two complete 1981 KX420's for 100 bucks. One runs and the other is a complete parts bike just missing the carb. So, I found a tecate 3 frame with tires, wheels, handle bars, breaks, a seat but missing the rear plastic in town for pretty cheap and I want to take the motor out of the parts bike and build it up then put it in the tecate frame. I took the 420 that runs with me to the christmas valley dunes last weekend and without a paddle it hauled complete ass!! It rattles so I was wondering is there a way to dampen the rattle when I put it on the trike frame?? And what carb should I go with for this set up?? like a 38-40? or what?

I'd run a 42mm carb and as for the rattling its an aircooled 2 stroke... Short of making sure the engine is bolted in properly and has all the anti rattle rubber grommets in the air fins it is what it is, your not gonna make it as smooth as a water cold engine.
