| I assume you are talking about the metal strip that the screws go through. If so, that is there to help the screws hold the reed petals down. Without it, I think you are likely to break the reeds off at the screw holes.

| I have figured it out. i was talking about the reed stoppers they are not on but i found them in a box, what i have on it now are rev plates, I have another package of reeds and was looking through the manual and you take the reed stoppers off and put the rev plates in its place. thanks for the help anyways |
