I got a Tecate-(3) 85' 250-R Runs great and each and every time I shut it down and next day won't start up
untill I put a new spark plug in it and fire up first kick
and runs great till I get tired of Hanging on the beast,,,,(her name is "Scorned Women" by the way)
next day same thing,,, wont start,,, change plug,, first kick Varoom here we go again!,,, What is up with that?
I am using preimun unleded and precise 40 to 1 mix,,,
I am thinking kick in an extra quart of unleded to dilute the oil , but afraid I will toast the engine,,

Sounds like you aren't shutting off the petcock after your rides. When I had my T-3 the carb leaked causing the same problem that you are having, well..it sounds like.

mgty3whlr - I am taking your advce and try shutting off the pet cock and running it dry after the ride,,,

Also what mix raito do you use for 2 stroke 250's??
