1986 kawasaki kx 250

I need a rear shock. What model/years will fit my 1986 kx 250.

you should be safe with 87, 88, and 89, not so sure bout 89 though

Kawasaki was notorious for using the same parts on many years of bikes. So I would think 87-88 shock would also be close enough but I have no proof. I was told the 86 shock can be rebuilt.
