| I worked on my bike putting on some stuff that Rockhound sent me for multiple hours trying to get where I could ride with my two sons on Sunday, as it had been a week or so since they could ride due to the rain (thank the lord for that, we needed it here in the south...) Well, after cleaning the carb, putting on the new intake, and lubing the cables, the T4 had a little more pep in it's already maddening step. We were messing around climbing the little hills that their 80 and 90 would climb when I decided to gas it all the way up and sky it out want time and try catch a slap wheelie when I came down... TOO high... I broke the freakin weld on the head pipe at the mount for the frame... Now I have to drain and drop the radiator so that I can have it welded back. The factory exhaust springs that I ordered are STOUT, so I am not gonna try and take them off. They did stop ALL blow by in combonation with new o-rings and a gasket. Oh well... so goes the responsibility associated with owning a 20 year old quad...lol. |
