New to thr forum, die hard Tecate fan

Hows it going......I figured a couple pics of my machine would be a good way too start off. Im 17 and have bought everything I own, I have a 1984 Tecate with the 85 front end, mx port job, 34mm keihen flat slide carb, Boyseen power reeds, lightened windowed piston and a DG silencer. I love it.

I also have a 1985 1/2 Tri-Z that i am restoring, the projects on hold right now because money is tight. But Hopefully ill have it done by January or Febuary.

My MX helmet was at my Dads in this pic, but Im a firm belivere that a helmet goes on before the bike goes on. So I grabbed my step dads motorcycle helmet.

Very nice, Love to see the classics getting restored instead of parted out. Good job keep it up and let us know how the project is coming along from time to time

one day....hopefully around a year from now....ill have my tecate looking that nice...im going to have to deoxidize the stock plastics, get a flywheel cover, and for looks thats about it. its not going to be as good a performer as yours tho. but im going to have new reeds, a new carb boot, dg pipe and silencer, new tires, new lighting coil, and a headlight and tailight by next year, i might have an overbore cylinder for more go juice. iv already got the reeds, lighting coil, and headlight sent for just needs to get here.
